Hi friends, welcome back from Easter! If we had a chance to feed you-thanks for letting us be part of your special holidays, it’s always so humbling. Hopefully we made your day more enjoyable with less time in the kitchen and more relaxing. Not sure about you, but pandemic fatigue is real over here and “what’s for dinner” is just the hardest question to answer these days. Perhaps we can help? This week at the Memorial Farmer’s Market, we’re featuring Rad’s specialty Roquefort Bleu cheese. Made with the same starter as dairy bleu cheese, this nut based cheese has in incredibly similar flavour made vegan.
This week, we’re featuring Buffalo Chick’Un Mac and Bleu Cheese, with roasted local mushroom “chicken” with buffalo sauce, a creamy mac and cheese base and a bleu cheese topping.
If you’d rather have your cheese on a pizza, we’re bringing back the Sicilian hand tossed crust, creamy truffle base, bleu cheese, pears, walnuts, carmelized onions and arugula. Super yum. We also have delicious miso dressing to help jazz up your greens, and treats! We’ve got treats gallore. This week on offer will be carrot cake cupcakes with cashew cream cheeze icing and cinnamon bunz. You can get our sweet treats at Daughter’s on Wednesdays and Saturdays- keeps your eyes peeled on instagram for a surprise donut drop.
Market orders can be placed from now until Thursday at 8 pm for Sunday pickup at the Memorial Center. If you can’t make that work, or need delivery or alternate pickup days-reach out to us and we’ll do our best to accomidate.
